We are grateful to Ian Dale from the Cumberland & Westmorland Herald who originally publicised the School Project in 2014 and on the 9th May 2015 published a follow up article in the paper tied in with the 100th Anniversary of the ill-fated Gallipoli Landings. As a result of this we were contacted by the relatives of Private Abraham Ridley of the Border Regiment who died in the campaign and whose story is shown on the next page.
